A brief note:
This is more of an archive than a portfolio. Generally the dialogue in comics isn’t lettered by hand anymore, the budget just isn’t there (honestly, I wasn’t paid enough for any of these projects to do them the way that I did). The dialogue is typed with a font, even if that font looks like handwriting. I, however, painstakingly wrote every letter with my own hand, sometimes even in traditional media, scanning it all, cleaning it up and arranging it on the page. This is not something I’m interested in doing anymore, but I still love and appreciate all the hard work I did when I was younger and stupider, so here it stays.
I was part of the team working on Capture Creatures for Boom! Studios for 4 issues, lettering both dialogue and sound effects.
I hand lettered 2 issues of Boom! Studio and Natasha Allegri's Bee and Puppycat. All art and writing credit goes to Natasha, letters by me.
I hand lettered 6 issues of Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake, published by Boom! Studios. Above is a selection of a single page from each issue. I've been nominated for an Eisner Award, and a Harvey Award for this series.
